Video 1, 2 & 3: Earth's Force Field
The Earths magnetic field, the protector of all life on Earth is under constant attack from deadly cosmic radiation. This invisible shield that we live in is weakening in a region over the South Atlantic, leaving it exposed to potentially lethal radiation. Is the Earth losing its magnetic field and doomed to a fate similar to Mars? Many scientists believe the answer lies in paleomagnetic data, and that this weakening may be a precursor to a magnetic field reversal; scientists know Earth is long overdue. However, humans were not around when the last reversal took place, so what does this mean.

Yellowstone National Park lies on top of a magma chamber that is 35-miles wide, waiting to erupt.
The Yellowstone Caldera is the volcanic caldera and super volcano located in Yellowstone National Park in the United States, sometimes referred to as the Yellowstone Supervolcano. The caldera is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming, in which the vast majority of the park is contained. The major features of the caldera measure about 34 by 45 miles (55 by 72 km). The caldera formed during the last of three super eruptions over the past 2.1 million years. First came the Huckleberry Ridge eruption 2.1 million years ago, which created the Island Park Caldera and the Huckleberry Ridge Tuff. Next came the Mesa Falls eruption 1.3 million years ago, which created the Henry's Fork Caldera and the Mesa Falls Tuff. Finally came the Lava Creek eruption 640,000 years ago, which created the Yellowstone Caldera and the Lava Creek Tuff...
A study published in GSA Today identified three fault zones that future eruptions are most likely to be centered on. Two of those areas are associated with lava flows aged 174,000--70,000 years, and the third area is a focus of present-day seismicity.

Extreme weather events for 2013 here on this video. 2013 was one of the more extreme years on record with the biggest storms, the biggest tornados the most fireballs the biggest floods and the list goes on.
Thank you all for sharing events and thanks for watching all throughout 2013. I don't want to know what we're in for in 2014 if the trend of these extremes continues.

Video 2: SECRETS OF THE DEAD (2000): 1. CATASTROPHE!
Did an ancient catastrophic event darken the earth and change the course of human history?
Part 1: "The Day the Sun Went Out" - (VHS description) - SECRETS OF THE DEAD
Today, scientists from a whole range of disciplines, armed with advanced technology and a determination to know the truth, are penetrating myths and legends to arrive at important conclusions about the causes and consequences of these dark mysteries.
1. CATASTROPHE!
Did a cataclysmic event plunge humankind into the period known as the early Dark Ages? Scientists now believe the early Dark Ages may have triggered by a natural event that occurred around 535 A.D. Science writer David Keys is convinced that the cause was a phenomenon of cataclysmic proportions. At the center of a complex chain of events seems to "a loud bang" — a volcanic explosion equal to "two thousand million Hiroshima size bombs." The subsequent environmental calamity, Keys believes, affected human civilization from Mongolia to Constantinople, precipitating plague, famine, death, great migration, the fall of the Mexican city of Teotihuacán, the Anglo-Saxon victory over the Celts, and even perhaps the rise of Islam.

It contains 99.9 percent of all the matter in our solar system and sheds hot plasma at nearly a million miles an hour. The temperature at its core is a staggering 27 million degrees Fahrenheit. It convulses, it blazes, it sings. You know it as the sun. Scientists know it as one of the most amazing physics laboratories in the universe. Now, with the help of new spacecraft and Earth-based telescopes, scientists are seeing the sun as they never have before and even recreating what happens at its very center in labs here on Earth.
