Splashing in the Puddles is the liveliest one of our rainy day songs. If you’re looking for a more boisterous inside activity it’s a great way to get everyone moving with some imaginative movement thrown in.
Tell the children to get ready in their pretend welly boots and raincoats, and to put their imaginary umbrellas up over their heads. Then everyone stamps around the room together as you all sing the song as energetically as you can!
Alternatively, if you’re feeling brave and you find yourselves outside on a rainy day, you can do it for real, but do make sure you’ve got your real coat and boots on!
